APK Janitorial Service is a locally owned residential cleaning company based in Vancouver, WA, serving Vancouver, Portland OR, and surrounding areas. We operate the website at apkjanitorial.com and are the data controller for any personal information collected through it.
Information We Collect
What you give us directly
When you request a quote, use the instant estimator, or contact us, we may collect:
- Name, email address, and phone number
- Home address or neighborhood
- Home details — square footage, bedrooms, bathrooms
- Service type, cleaning preferences, and add-ons selected
- Preferred appointment dates
- Any notes or messages you submit
What we collect automatically
Our hosting and security providers may automatically log:
- IP address
- Browser type and version
- Pages visited and time on site
- Referring website and device type
We do not currently use cookies for advertising or tracking, and we do not use Google Analytics or any third-party tracking pixels at this time. If we add advertising or analytics tools in the future (such as Google Ads or Meta Pixel), we will update this policy to name them and describe what they collect before they go live on the site.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to quote requests and provide cleaning estimates
- Schedule and manage cleaning appointments
- Send invoices and service confirmations
- Communicate with you about your service
- Improve our website and service offerings
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or any automated decision-making.
Information Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Ever.
We only share your information in these limited circumstances:
- With our cleaning team — staff see only the address, service details, and schedule needed to complete your job.
- With service providers — third-party tools we use to store and process data (listed in Section 5). They are bound to protect your data and cannot use it for their own purposes.
- When required by law — if required by a court order, subpoena, or applicable law.
Third-Party Services
Our website uses the following services that may process your data:
Supabase

Google Fonts
We load fonts from Google Fonts. When your browser downloads these fonts, Google receives your IP address and browser information. Google Privacy Policy →
Cloudflare Web Analytics
We may use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand site usage. This tool uses no cookies, does not track individuals across sites, and collects no personal information — only aggregated, privacy-preserving statistics.
SMS & Email Communications
Service communications
If you submit a quote or booking request, we may contact you by email or phone to follow up, confirm appointments, or send invoices. These are necessary to deliver our services.
Promotional communications
In the future we may offer an opt-in program for occasional promotional messages — seasonal offers, discounts, or service reminders — by SMS or email. We will only send these if you explicitly opt in through your client portal.
You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any text or clicking Unsubscribe in any email. We do not currently send unsolicited promotional messages.
Data Retention
We retain your personal information as long as needed to provide services and meet legal obligations:
- Quote requests — 2 years, or until you request deletion
- Client and appointment records — duration of business relationship plus 3 years
- Invoice records — 7 years, as required for tax compliance
You may request earlier deletion at any time. See Section 8.
Your Rights
Depending on your location you may have the following rights:
- Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Correction — request correction of inaccurate information
- Deletion — request deletion of your personal information
- Portability — request your data in a portable format
- Opt-out — opt out of any marketing communications at any time
Email us at apkjanitorialservice@gmail.com to exercise any of these rights. We'll respond within 30 days and will never discriminate against you for making a request.
Note: Records required for legal or tax compliance (such as paid invoices) cannot be deleted, but we can remove all other personal data tied to your account.
Security
We protect your information through:
- All data transmitted over HTTPS (encrypted in transit)
- Client data stored in Supabase with row-level security policies
- Staff access requires authenticated login with two-factor authentication
- Two-factor authentication on all our service accounts
No method of internet transmission is 100% secure. While we take reasonable precautions, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently done so, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top when we do. For significant changes we may notify active clients by email. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
